    Common questions

Do I need any experience to join?

None at all. The beginners program is designed for people who have never trained before. You will start alongside others at the same level and progress step by step.

What do I wear to my first class?

Just comfortable athletic clothing for your trial. Shorts and a t-shirt are fine. If you join the program, we will guide you on getting a gi (kimono).

Is Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu safe for beginners?

Yes. Safety is our first priority. Classes are structured so beginners train with other beginners, and our coaches control the pace and intensity from day one.

How long is the beginners program?

8 weeks, with 3 sessions per week. Each class builds on the last, so attendance matters.

Do you offer instruction in French?

Yes. All classes at SOL Grappling are delivered in both French and English. You will never feel lost because of language.

    Where is SOL Grappling located?

We are in the Jonction district of Geneva, at Rue Jean-Louis Hugon 9, 1205 Geneva.
